Milwaukee police investigating 3 weekend shootings

MILWAUKEE -- Police are investigating three shootings in Milwaukee over the weekend.

A shooting occurred around 12:40 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of W. Maple Street. A 20-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. Police said they believe it was self-inflicted and that he is refusing to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

Another shooting occurred around 2:45 p.m. Sunday at 91st and W Good Hope Rd. An 18-year-old male victim was shot while sitting in his car and suffered a non-life threatening injury. He transported himself to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said the third shooting occurred around 6:10 p.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of N. 44th St. A 23-year-old victim was shot while on the street and suffered a non-life threatening injury. He transported himself to a local hospital for treatment. There are no suspects in custody.
