Milwaukee man charged with 9th OWI
GREENFIELD -- A Milwaukee man was charged Friday with his 9th OWI after a road rage incident Thursday night in Greenfield.
According to Greenfield police, Dean T. Schaefer, 50, was reportedly chasing another vehicle in his truck on Hwy 100 near Coldspring Road around 7:30 p.m.
The driver of the car told police at one point Schaefer got out of his truck at a red light and approached his car yelling and pounding his fist.
Officers located and stopped Schaefer in the 9500 block of Layton Avenue. Schaefer blew a .12 BAC, according to Greenfield police.
Schaefer’s eight previous convictions for OWI's date back to 1989.
A 9th Offense OWI is a class G felony with a minimum sentence of 3 years and maximum sentence of 10 years.
