Milwaukee man charged with 3rd DUI in hit-and-run
Matlock has been arrested for his third DUI after crashing into a construction zone and being chased by police on foot.
MILWAUKEE - A 27-year-old Milwaukee man is facing multiple charges after crashing into a construction zone while drunk driving.
It happened early Thursday morning near I-43 southbound at Lapham Boulevard. Floyd Matlock crashed into a barreled-off area of a construction zone and narrowly missed a construction worker.
Matlock then ran from the scene on foot. Deputies established a search perimeter and found the man hiding under a parked car. He blew a .16 on a preliminary breath test.
Matlock faces charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, as well as Hit and Run. He could face up to 11 years and 6 months in prison if convicted of all charges.
