Milwaukee man found guilty of armed robbery
MADISON – A Milwaukee man charged with armed robbery was found guilty Thursday by a Milwaukee County jury.
Kenyatta A. Clincy was accused of robbing an Assistant District Attorney in front of her home on March 25th, holding a shiny metal object that the victim believed to be a gun. He fled the scene, getting into a car that was driven by a co-defendant.
Later that night, Clincy was found going double the speed limit in the getaway car, wearing the same clothes he had on during the robbery. The shiny metal object was sitting at his feet in the car. It was a lug wrench with a shape similar to that of a gun.
Clincy is facing up to $100,000 in fines and up to 40 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for November.
