Milwaukee horse trainer loses legal battle
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Wisconsin horse trainer is on the losing end of a bitter legal dispute over a show jumper.
Amy Hunter of Viroqua trained a sick Irish Draught horse back to health and productivity for a wealthy out-of-state-owner. Hunter that owner, Grace Shaw-Kennedy, of California, was so grateful she told her she could keep him.
But after the horse named Cradilo regained Grand Prix show jumping status, the Milwaukee Journal reports, the owner demanded the horse back.
