Milwaukee firefighters respond to scrap fire

MILWAUKEE -- Firefighters are dealing with a large scrap fire in the Menomonee Valley. 

The fire broke out at Miller Compressing just before 7PM on Saturday night in a scrap yard near Bruce and 16th street. 

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, the compressing company keeps a fire going in the scrap yard, but the fire got out of control on Saturday evening. 

There are no injuries reported. Firefighters are still on scene trying to put out the fire.
