MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is hoping to grow economic development on the city's north wide with a new 50,000-square-foot industrial facility.
The building, which the Journal Sentinel reports would cost between $5 and $6 million, would be built on the site of the old A.O.Smith/Tower Automotive Inc. complex.
The mayor is expected to announce the project at Monday's "state of the city" speech.
Barrett will also announce his goals for a nearly $12 million neighborhood investment plan.
