MILWAUKEE - There is a sense of shock and sadness on the campus of Marquette University after a journalist's disturbing death.

James Foley was beheaded by Islamic extremists, the video was then posted to the internet.
Foley graduated from Marquette in 1996.
Students like C. J. Frank says he felt a link to Foley even though the two had never met.
"I do feel a personal connection because he did go here." Frank said.
A prayer vigil to remember Foley had been scheduled for next Tuesday. It will be held on campus and begin at 6 p.m.
