Marquette University on the search for a new president
MILWAUKEE - Marquette University is looking for a new president.
Father Scott Pilarz, the current president of the university, announced last week that he's stepping down.
Pilarz submitted his resignation after just two years, to "pursue new apostolic work".
Pilarz says he made this decision after much "prayer, discernment, and conversation with religious superiors."
Marquette hopes to have a replacement ready next year.
