Milwaukee man who enticed teens with ice cream gets three years
MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee sex offender is headed to prison.
A judge on Monday sentenced Daniel Anderson, Jr, for enticing two young girls and paying them for sexual favors.
The sentence includes three years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision. The case dates back to May 2012. That's when police say Anderson met the teens (then 14 and 16) in the 900 block of North Avenue.
Investigators say Anderson invited them for ice cream, but then took them to a home on W. Wright Street on Milwaukee's north side. In that house, prosecutors accused Anderson of having sex with the 16 year old girl and touching the 14 year old.
Anderson reached a plea deal; he plead guilty to two counts of child enticement and in return the state dropped an additional seven charges.
