BOSCOBEL -- a man is facing several charges for allegedly tossing a bag of heroin and a hypodermic needle from his car while he was being chased by police.

The Journal Sentinel reports Andrew Adams tried to dump the drugs near Boscobel Elementary School after a sheriff's deputy tried to stop him.

He's now facing charges of bail jumping, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle with a restricted, controlled substance.

Adams has a history of driving on a suspended license.
