Man last seen with Kelly Dwyer in court as search of landfill continues
MILWAUKEE - Kelly Dwyer’s family is still wondering what happened to her. Monday marked the third day police have been out searching at a landfill. So far, no clues have been found. The man believed to last see her was in court today, on drug charges.
Kris Zocco sat in court, shaking his head in disbelief at the drug charges. Kelly Dwyer went missing after spending the night at his apartment two weeks ago.
Zocco sat in court, showing little emotion. His attorney asked for some of the drug charges against him to be dismissed.
“There’s been no evidence presented to substantiate charges of keeper of a drug house or possession with intent,” said Attorney Michael Levine.
The judge ordered Zocco to stand trial.
But it's still hasn't gotten police any closer to finding out what happened to Kelly Dwyer.
It’s the second time in three days Zocco's been before a judge.
On Saturday, he appeared in court - charged with 17 counts of possession of child pornography.
And prosecutors said he may be a suspect in her disappearance.
The prosecutor stated, "this defendant is a very key suspect in a missing person and probable homicide investigation.”
Police haven’t officially linked him to her disappearance. They've been searching a landfill for clues, but keep coming up empty.
Kris Zocco is not been charged in her disappearance. So far, he's only been charged with keeping a drug house and possessing child pornography. Hopefully Kelly Dwyer will be found soon. Billboards are now going up around the area asking for help finding her.
