Man from Caledonia arrested for possible 5th DUI, drug paraphernalia

A 44-year-old man has been arrested for an alleged 5th drunk driving offense and possessing drug paraphernalia, among a number of other possible crimes.

A Milwaukee County Sheriff's spokesperson said the arrest happened on I-94 southbound at College Avenue at about 11:50 p.m. Sunday night.

According to the spokesperson, the man, who was on probation for escape, also was arrested for the following alleged crimes:
- Driving under the influence-5th offense
- Speeding
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Operating with a revoked license/OWI-related
- Habitual criminality
- Violation of probation

Deputies found boxes of drug needles and other paraphernalia.

The spokesperson says that if he is convicted on every charge, he faces up to 15 years in prison.  Court records Monday morning did not reveal that he has been charged yet.
