MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Department showed off its 35 new recruits Monday.

They began their field training and will undergo months of physical training to learn what it takes to be a cop. Those who make it will become full-fledged officers in December.

There are 31 men and four women in the group. The youngest recruit is 21 years old, while the oldest is 46.
