MFD to announce punishment for engine house vandalism
MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee's Fire Chief is expected to hand down some type of punishment on Friday to the firefighters who vandalized a firehouse.
The investigation started back in October. The firefighters are accused of wrecking the inside of Engine House 32. The chief said they were upset over a command change and acted out.
Since then, three firefighters have taken early retirement and two probationary firefighters were fired.
The seven remaining have been on paid suspension since the investigation began.
