Look inside Milwaukee's newest hotel
MILWAUKEE - Officials at the Potowatomi Casino say their new hotel will be unlike any other hotel property in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Leaders let cameras into the 18 story, 150 million dollar project for the first time Monday.
Crews are progressing very quickly with the interior of the hotel from the lobby all the way up to the Penthouse.
Hotel Director Hassan Abdel-Moneim tells TODAY'S TMJ4 finishing work is underway in the rooms and suites.
"We're buying all the bits and pieces that we need to get the rooms fitted." Abdel-Moneim said.
Rooms will have sweeping views of the Milwaukee skyline and will be fitted with marble and chrome.
Abdel-Moneim said linens will be high thread-count with guest towels to match.
One area of the hotel Officials have not revealed is the Penthouse on the top floor. They claim it will be the biggest and most luxurious space in Milwaukee.
Abdel-Moneim wouldn't say how much the room rate will be for the Penthouse, but would only say it will be in the four-figure range.
Leaders are in the process of sifting through thousands of applications for the more than two-hundred employees that will work here.
The Potowatomi Hotel & Casino is expected to open sometime in the fall of 2014.
