MUSKEGO - Lightning struck a Muskego home early Saturday during the line of thunderstorms that passed through. Fortunately no one was hurt.

The lightning struck a tree in their backyard and the energy traveled through the cable lines to the home. Home owner, Becky Skiff, was on the phone with her mother when she saw a bright flash of light.

"I felt the zap, it either flew out of my hand or I flung it and the whole house shook, the back wall, all the stuff fell down," said Skiff.

The couple has been displaced  due to the severe electrical damage to their home.
