ELKHORN -- A police chase involving 5 police agencies ended in an arrest for a Lake Geneva man Sunday afternoon.

Walworth County Sheriff's officials said they responded to a report of a domestic violence incident allegedly involving Christopher L. Mangold, 40, around 3:20 p.m. He was reported to be intoxicated as he left the scene.

Police spotted his vehicle and pulled him over. Mangold sped away before officers approached his vehicle.

Mangold led police on a chase -- with speeds allegedly reaching 100 mph -- when officers deployed two sets of stop sticks, deflating one of his tires.

The vehicle continued on Interstate 43 northbound at Hwy NN toward Elkhorn when a Walworth County Sheriff used a PIT maneuver and Mangold's vehicle struck a guardrail.

Mangold was taken into custody following the 16 minute chase. He faces several charges including a 3rd OWI offense.
