LAKE GENEVA -- Tryouts are today for the famous "mail jumpers" on Lake Geneva.

Each summer, the mail boat delivers mail to about 60 houses around the lake. The jumpers deliver the mail by jumping off and onto the boat. The catch, the boat never stops.

The delivery is the only marine mail delivery of its type in the country and began in 1870.

The jumper also serves as a guide for tourists on the boat.

Tryouts start at 11 a.m.
