Kenosha man survives after being crushed under train
PLEASANT PRAIRIE -- A man survived after crashing his car into a train in Pleasant Prairie Wednesday night.
Police said the train was stopped and blocking the roadway around midnight.
The 47-year-old Kenosha man didn't see the train, according to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, and his car was crushed underneath.
Firefighters had to cut open the car and pull him out.
He was transported to an area hospital where he is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
