BROOKFIELD - More than 800 customers were without power Thursday, We Energies confirmed.

It happened just before noon Thursday. The outage is believed to be caused by a truck hitting a power line pole near W. Capitol Drive and N. Calhoun Avenue. Traffic lights at both Capitol and Calhoun as well as Capitol and Imperial are out as well.

Waukesha County officials confirmed the outage and says power is anticipated to be out for "the next 2-3 hours." People are being asked to avoid the area, if possible.

Three utility poles will need to be replaced due to the incident, We Engergies said.

As of about 2:00 Thursday afternoon, We Energies has confirmed all customers should have their lights back on.
