MILWAUKEE - Eleven years after the attack on the USA, is it time for the TSA to relax some airport security measures?

The Transportation Security Administration has announced that it will expand its TSA expedited screening program to 60 new airports, including Milwaukee, which will allow pre-approved airline travelers different screening procedures.

The attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 also had a major effect on the airline business model. Airlines lost $55 billion after 9/11 and have cut 160,000 jobs.

As a result, some airlines merged while others folded. Many carriers cut meals and introduced fees to make up the losses.
