Milwaukee – When the weather gets cold it creates dangerous conditions for those who need a place to stay warm. Local homeless shelters are seeing an increase in the number of people they serve.

It’s estimated about 1,500 men, women, and children in Milwaukee don’t have a place to stay when it gets cold. Those who are able to sleep at the shelters say they are thankful.

Homeless shelters are always seeking donations this time of year. Warm clothing is especially needed.
