MILWAUKEE -  A Milwaukee man couldn't believe it when he left a church meeting and found that his rusty Dodge Caravan, with handicap plates had been stolen from the church parking lot.

It happened Wednesday night outside Atonement Lutheran Church on the city's north side.

Larry Breitrick has M.S. and says the van was equipped to help him drive with his hands.  The loss is big for him and his family.

"And I don't know what I'm gonna do," said Breitrick.

Milwaukee police say older model Dodge Caravans are actually the number one stolen vehicle in Milwaukee, and most times, they're stolen for joy rides and later recovered.
