GREEN BAY -- A Green Bay police officer has been cleared of any wrong doing in a high-profile arrest that was recorded and posted on YouTube.
Police Chief Tom Molitor said Tuesday that Officer Derek Wicklund's use of force was "justifiable."
The video posted in April showed Wicklund shoving a man against a parked car, throwing him to the ground and punching him.
Press-Gazette Media later reported that Wicklund was the subject of 14 citizen complaints, including five allegations of excessive force. None of the complaints were substantiated by internal investigations.
WLUK-TV reports police have four different videos of the April arrest and are showing them at a news conference.
