WAUWATOSA -- Governor Scott Walker toured Wauwatosa's Briggs & Stratton plant Monday morning.

The company recently announced that they plan to add more than 200 full-time jobs at their Wauwatosa plant as well as 150 seasonal positions.
"We're pleased that we have created the kind of environment where companies like Briggs & Stratton and others feel comfortable adding jobs here in the state, bringing jobs back," Walker said. "It's what we've worked on for the last 31/2 years."
The governor pointed out that Wisconsin is one of 23 states that have added more than 100,000 new jobs since December 2010.  Walker also said that unemployment in the state is now at a five and a half year low.
