WATERFORD -- Days after a devastating fire in Waterford destroyed a tavern and damaged several other buildings, a fundraising effort has begun to help those affected.

The fundraiser is planned for Friday, January 11th. It will feature live music, auctions, and a 50/50 raffle.

The Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce is also assisting with a fund for the victims. You can find out more information -- including how to donate -- here.

Organizers are also reaching out for donations of clothing or other items that can help the victims of the fire. They continue to update their needs and progress on their website.

A fire destroyed Martini Mo'z tavern on Friday, causing smoke and fire damage to several surrounding buildings.

The daughter of the tavern's owner also lived in the building.
