Freezing rain leads to treacherous road conditions
MILWAUKEE - Freezing rain late Friday afternoon resulted in treacherous road conditions across the area, as well as power outages and a tunnel closure.
The ramp from I-94 EB to I-43 EB was closed, as the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office reported on Twitter. The ramp was later reopened.
MCTS said many of its buses were running behind schedule due to the weather, and 102 salt trucks were deployed in Milwaukee, according to the DPW.
