FRANKLIN -- Residents in Franklin packed City Hall Thursday night to voice their opinions on a pending $10 million project.

A debate over plans to build a minor league baseball stadium at the Rock Sports Complex stirred as the planning commission reviewed the proposal.

Residents who live in the area said they are worried about traffic, noise and the bright lights.

"I don't think anyone can look at me in the face and say, 'I would love this in my backyard,'" resident Joy Draginis-Zingales said. "And if you do, I've got a house you can buy."

No final decisions were made during Thursday's meeting. More public meetings have been scheduled.
