Former cop arrested in suitcase bodies case frequented BDSM websites
WEST ALLIS - Fifty two year old Steven Zelich is a former West Allis and Mequon police officer, and current security guard, whose neighbors were shocked to learn that he now stands accused of murdering two women and hiding their bodies in two suitcases.
He is said to have met his victims online, but not on Match.com, we found three online profiles connected to his email, on BDSM websites.
One was a yahoo group named "Master B Slave Club."
His screen name? "Mister Handcuffs."
The profile states he's "looking for a long term slave" someone who "understands, needs, desires, craves and must be controlled by another."

It's a far cry from his job as a security guard. He's been working for the company Securitas since 2007, and was assigned to watch over Johnson Controls on Green Bay Road.
Another former security guard told us off camera that Steven Zelich was a competent worker, who put in a lot of overtime, but he did notice something peculiar about the guy he worked with for years. Zelich never talked about his personal life and when he spoke, it was with caution, as if he was carefully forming each word before it came out of his mouth.
Securitas sent us a statement, saying there were no "extraordinary incidents" in his file and he had a "satisfactory work record."
Neighbors living in his quiet apartment building can't believe it.
"I really don't know what to say cause it's a bit of a shock to me as it is to you and everyone in the community here," said Mike Darnutzer, neighbor.
