UPDATE: Colton O'Brien turned himself in around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.

TOWN OF ASHFORD -- A man wanted by sheriff's officers in Fond du Lac County may be hiding out and working in Milwaukee.

Fond du Lac Sheriff's Captain Rock Olig said they are looking for Colton O'Brien, 22. Deputies said he and another 19-year-old Campbellsport man beat and got a taser away from a deputy who broke up a drug deal around 12:55 a.m. July 5 on Elmore Drive in the Town of Ashford.
O'Brien also allegedly went for the deputy's gun.
"The biggest concern is that he tried to disarm a police officer," Olig said.
Olig said he has had contact with suspect.
"I told him to turn himself in and told him what was going on ... he said he would turn himself in last night," he said.
But that never happened. Olig said they think O'Brien may be working construction in Milwaukee.
The deputy involved suffered a shoulder injury.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact deputies at (920) 929-3390.
