Man revived from fire on Milwaukee's north side

Milwaukee Fire Department crews have rescued a man without a pulse and revived him following a fire on the city's north side.

Police have gone to the scene after it happened at about 5:00 p.m. on the 3700 block of North 53rd Street, three blocks south of Capitol Drive.

The fire began in an upper unit bedroom.

Three people were displaced, an adult and two children.  There was no confirmed word of the extent of damage.

Police say that as of 6 p.m. Thursday, there was no criminal evidence on scene.
