Feds indict 27, arrest 21 in drug, murder and money laundering case

The U.S. Department of Justice says that 27 people face charges in what it calls "a poly-drug conspiracy case which also includes homicide, money laundering, and firearms offenses."

The following people face charges and have search warrants against them:
- Trevan Brown, 29, conspiracy to distribute drugs
- John Cleveland, 38, firearm possession and possession/distributing or intending to distribute drugs
- Ronnie Reid, 45, possession and distributing or intending to distribute drugs
- Demerius Scholar, 28, posses ion and distributing or intending to distribute drugs
- Sam Spears, conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Roger Walker, firearm possession and conspiracy to distribute drugs

These other arrested people also face charges:
- Brenda Arms, 66, running a drug-involved premises
- Cecil Arms, 70, conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Kevin C. Arms, 21, money laundering
- Kevin R. Arms, 40, causing death with a firearm, money laundering and conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Patricia Arms, 65, misprision of a felony
- Shenese Arms, 33, money laundering
- Shenita Arms-Nicholas, 33, money laundering
- John Bailey, 37, causing death with a firearm and conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Kyle Carrington, 22, posses ion and distributing or intending to distribute drugs
- Timothy Cunningham, 44, conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Malik Danun, 28, obstruction of justice
- Maurice Handy, 42, conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Katilia Jackson, 26, running a drug-involved premises- Roosevelt Lee, 40, firearm possession and conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Phillip Moffett, 32, causing death with a firearm and conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Tremell Nicholas, 34, money laundering
- Brandon Owens, 30, firearm possession and conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Joe Parker, 73, conspiracy to distribute drugs
- Ricky Shaw, 38, misprision of a felony
- Brandon Trotter, 27, firearm possession and possession/distributing or intending to distribute drugs
- Carl Wilson, 41, firearm possession and conspiracy to distribute drugs

Sentences for these individuals, if they are convicted, could run between three years of misprision of a felony to life in prison for drug, conspiracy and firearms charges.

Officials say more arrests are expected.

Federal, state and local law enforcement from Milwaukee and Waukesha helped in the investigation and arrests of these suspects.
