Fatal crash discovered Wednesday morning
MILWAUKEE - Police are investigating a single-vehicle car crash that happened near 92nd and Chester Street Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to the area shortly before 6:30 a.m. when residents discovered the crash that happened sometime overnight. The driver of a 2002 Pontiac Montana minivan was westbound on Chester when he crossed into the eastbound lanes and exited the roadway, hitting a light pole and a fence.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from East Troy, died at the scene. It appears as if he was the person in the car at the time of the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
