MILWAUKEE --  Fast food and retail workers in Milwaukee claim they're walking off the job Thursday as part of a national protest.

Workers want their pay increased to $15 an hour and the right to form a union without retaliation.

A group was protesting outside the McDonald's at Holton Street and Capitol Drive from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.

A rally is also planned outside the Milwaukee County courthouse at 11:15 a.m.
