Fans tailgate in subzero temperatures for Brewers Opening Day tickets
MILWAUKEE - Jaime Cull is a pro when it comes to camping out for the Brewers' Arctic Tailgate. Armed with wood, cardboard and some ice, Jamie and her friends are ready to brave the elements.
“We are all sane …we are very passionate, we have big hearts,” said Jaime Cull.
It’s more than passion that keeps Dave Macholl coming back year after year.
“The camaraderie hanging out with the crew that is what it is all about,” said Dave Macholl.
Macholl says purchasing four regular season tickets is also a bonus.
“They are four well worth it.”
And you may wonder what it takes to survive the bone-chilling temperatures. Jaime says it’s simple.
“You need friends, fire pits and cold beer."
So into the night, folks find ways to keep themselves occupied until the box office opens at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
