MILWAUKEE - We still don't know how a popular makeup artist died when her home in Delafield caught fire. TODAY'S TMJ4's Todd Hicks spoke with Sarah Brucker's family Friday.

"We're trying right now to share happy moments," says Ashley Cox.

It's memories of Brucker's beaming smile that comfort Cox. She tells TODAY'S TMJ4 her cousin didn't survive a fire at her Delafield home Wednesday night. It's not clear how it started.

"This has been incredibly difficult for her family," explains Cox. "Under such tragic circumstance."

More than a dozen fire departments helped put out the fire that started Wednesday night. Brucker was a makeup artist in Milwaukee, even opening up a botique shop in the Third Ward. Cox said her cousin did more than make women beautiful on the outside - she helped them on the inside too.

"Right now it's just about sharing in those memories and laughing because that's something she loved to do," says Cox.

Until Brucker's family gets more information from investigators on what happened, they're trying to stay positive as they deal with their pain.

"I just want her to know what ever the circumstances, I will always put my best face forward, because that's what she would do."
