The Hunger Task Force is helping families apply.

"We are encouraging people to go on and apply for those emergency food stamps, replace that food" said Sherri Tessler with the Hunger Task Force. "Hopefully We Energies is gonna have us all up and running really quick and everything will be back to normal."

Residents do need to provide proof from We Energies that they experienced an extended power outage. Help can be found at the following locations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.:
  • Coggs Center, 1220 W. Vliet St
  • Robles Center, 910 W. Mitchell St.
