Eau Claire chiropractor accused of assault
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) -- An Eau Claire chiropractor is accused of sexually assaulting a female patient.
Forty-four-year-old Jeremy Stender is charged with second-degree sexual assault and is free on a signature bond. Prosecutors say Stender had sexual contact with the patient while working at Wolter Chiropractic in 2012. Stender has denied any inappropriate contact with the woman.
A criminal complaint says Stender told the patient it would be his word against hers in any report of sexual contact.
The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram says Stender is due in court July 23.
