Documents from Walker-related probe released
MADISON -- The latest batch of documents seized during a now-closed investigation into aides of Gov. Scott Walker when he was Milwaukee County executive has been released.
The Milwaukee County executive's office on Friday released 14 gigabytes of data. That is just a small portion of the 500 gigabytes of data taken during the investigation and handed over to the county.
The latest round does not include any emails, which will come later at an unspecified date.
Instead, the release includes documents saved on county employees' work computers such as pictures, word files and spreadsheets.
Six aides and associates of Walker's were convicted as a result of the investigation. Walker was not charged.
A second investigation that grew out of the original one has been put on hold by a judge.
