MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee man could face up to 14 years in prison after being caught driving northbound in the south lanes of I-94.

It happened just after midnight Monday morning near the intersection of I-94 and 84th Street. 36-year-old Victor Holifield allegedly took the ramp from I-94 to head southbound on US-45, but instead turned at the end of the ramp and ended up driving north against traffic.

Holifield told police he was driving erratically because he was trying to check his Facebook account. He blew a .11 on a preliminary breath test.

Because Holifield already is a convicted felon, the sheriff's office says they will seek "the habitual criminality enhancer". That means Holifield could get 14 years in prison instead of 10.
