MADISON - Supporters of a controversial casino took their pitch to the State Capitol Thursday.

Politicians, union members and Kenosha business leaders held a press conference asking Governor Scott Walker to approve the the Hard Rock plan.
The global entertainment company would operate the 800 million dollar resort on behalf of the Menominee tribe.
The Ho-Chunk and Potawatomi tribes remain opposed to the plan. They believe it would eat away at their current customers.
Rep. Peter Barca disputes that claim. He thinks Hard Rock's name would create new demand from people living to the South of the state line.
"That's the part that I think they just plainly miss, that Northern Illinois market is ripe." said Barca.
Governor Walker could make a decision on the casino project sometime next week.
