Crews battle 3-alarm fire in Watertown

WATERTOWN - Firefighters from several departments battled a 3 alarm fire at an apartment building in Watertown.

It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at a building on 4th Street.

Six families are without a home and 3 people are injured, including 2 people who jumped from a second story window. A third man was treated for smoke inhalation after being rescued on the second floor by firefighters.

There's no word on a cause and no damage estimates, but the wreckage is extensive.
