GERMANTOWN - Two people in Germantown flagged down a police officer because they locked their keys in the car at a gas station. Once officers got the door open, they found drugs inside.

The passenger, Kristin Wendels had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest. The driver, Jacob Eggers, was also taken into custody.

"In a sad way it really doesn't surprise us, shock us, it's kind of a stupid criminal thing," said Germantown Police Chief Peter Hoell.

The two made their initial appearances in court, and are being held on a cash bond.
