OCONTO, Wis. (AP) -- A jury in Oconto County has convicted one of two men accused of killing a Green Bay man 15 years ago.
Fifty-three-year-old Peter Hanson was found guilty Tuesday of killing 19-year-old Chad McLean, whose body was found in the Pensaukee River a month after he disappeared in February 1998.
McLean was last seen riding with Hanson and Charles Mlados after several hours of drinking and visiting at the home of Hanson's next door neighbor.  McLean and Mlados say they dropped McLean off at the Hi-Way restaurant that night so he could find a ride home to Green Bay. Prosecutors say McLean was killed after arguing with the men.
Press-Gazette Media says a trial for Mlados begins Feb. 4.
