CLYMAN - A crash early Friday morning in Dodge County sent two people to the hospital, one by Flight for Life.

Just before 8:45 a.m., a man from Cambria was driving a minivan south on Hwy. 26 when he slowed down for a construction zone. According to Sgt. Dennis Walston with the Dodge County Sheriff's Department, he was hit from behind by a tractor trailer as he approached a heavy equipment entrance in the zone.

The minivan traveled into the northbound lane of traffic and hit a van coming the other direction, driven by a man from Orangeville, Illinois. The collision sent the van into the east shoulder, hitting a construction flagman, a 29-year-old man from Appleton.

The flagman was taken from the scene by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. The man in the minivan was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, and the other two men were not injured.

The crash continues to be under investigation.
