MILWAUKEE -- Police in Milwaukee are reminding drivers to not leave their cars while warming up the engine.

Thieves stole seven cars over the weekend because they were left running while owners went inside to stay warm.

The Red Cross is reminding drivers that in this extreme cold cars should be stocked with a survival kit, in case of emergency. The kit should include first aid, water, a flash light and extra batteries, non-perishable snacks, and extra warm clothing and blankets.
