Christmas tree fire at Milwaukee Country Club

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Country Club is closed indefinitely to repair damages after a Christmas tree caught fire. It happened around 10 a.m. Sunday in a first-floor dining room at the club.

The North Shore Fire Department reported the building’s sprinkler system was able to contain the fire to the dining room. There was a lot of smoke and water damage on the entire first floor.  No one was injured. The exact cause of fire remains under investigation.
