MILWAUKEE - Buzz Williams is more than just a basketball coach.  He's also Kelly Lyons' hero.

"Kelly calls him 'my Coach, my Buzz," her mother Robbin Lyons told WTMJ's Jon Meerdink.
Lyons is the president of the Wisconsin Upside Down Foundation, and her daughter has Down Syndrome.
Kelly is a member of Buzz's Bunch, a charity Williams created for children with special needs.
"I've met many celebrities and athletes over the years," Lyons explained.  "The (celebs) show up and do their PR thing and can't get out of the room fast enough.  Not Buzz."
According to Lyons, when Williams first met her daughter: "He listened to her.  He knelt down and talked to her for 45 minutes.  He became my daughter's hero."
Lyons admits it'll be tough to tell her daughter Williams is moving on to Virginia Tech.
"He created something truly special," Lyons said.  "I can't thank you enough, Buzz."
