UPDATE: Bus fire backs up traffic on HWY 41

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A bus fire on HWY 41 caused major traffic backups and closed the roadway for hours on Sunday afternoon.
The Washington County Sheriff's office says the bus fire began when a tire blew and ignited.
The bus was on its way from Oshkosh to Atlanta, Georgia with 56 passengers and two drivers on board.
Everyone on the bus was able to get out of the bus with their luggage before the fire spread. No one was injured in the process.
Fire crews and law enforcement had to close HWY 41 between HWY 33 and HWY K for a time while the scene was cleared.
The passengers and crew fromt he bus were taken to a fire station before they were put on another bus to Georgia.
